I am a 5th year Industrial/Organizational (I/O) doctoral candidate at Old Dominion University (ODU). I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2008 with a Psychology major and Spanish minor. During my time at ODU, I’ve been a Research Assistant and lab coordinator for the Technology in Training (TNT) lab, a TA for Undergraduate Research Methods, and an instructor for Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I received my M.S. from ODU in 2013, and my thesis focused on the usage of learner control features in online training programs.
In general, my research focuses on how organizations use technology for employee selection and training. Current research projects in this area include studies exploring Facebook for employee selection, Backchannel communication in the classroom, and selection tests on mobile devices.
